Homemade Marinated Artichoke Hearts

  • Tablespoon
  • 1 teaspoon
  • Medium size bowl
  • Spoon for mixing
  • 12 OZ Jar with lid for storing

Ingredients

  • 10 OZ Artichoke hearts
  • 3 Tbsp Lemon juice About 1 medium sized lemon
  • 2 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning blend

Instructions

  • Cut your artichoke hearts into halves and place in a medium size bowl.
  • Add the lemon juice, olive oil, sea salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. Toss the ingredients together gently with a spoon until well incorporated.
  • Transfer the artichoke hearts into a jar and pout in the liquid. Cover with a lid and store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Notes

You will know your artichokes have gone bad when they taste like vinegar.
